Generally, Kiwi beers suck shit. They taste like the by-product of a brewing process gone wrong...not unlike Marmite. At 4.0% the proof isn't gonna give anyone any fun anytime soon anyhow. But FLAME...wow...proudly brewed in Auckland, this amber-golden liquid nectar tastes like heaven. Brewed at high temps then crashed-cooled to below freezing-point, this baby scored full points for flavour, strength, smoothness and enjoyment. Plus, the bottle looks cool as hell.
